Castle-an-Dinas

This shortish walk centres around the rather impressive Castle-an-Dinas. This Iron Age fort dominates the surrounding areas of St. Columb Major, St. Wenn, Roche and Withiel as well as overlooking the A30 as it skirts Goss Moor. The real reward of this walk are the views over Cornwall and the chance of a secluded picnic spot on Tregonetha Downs, whilst taking us along fields and wide bridleways, before finishing with a stretch on the road.

Vale of Lanherne

This Figure of Eight walk, has the beauty of being in two intersecting loops, meaning we can do one half, the other half or the whole walk in its entirety. We start, return in the middle and finish in the superb village of St. Mawgan, with its Tea Rooms, Pub, Church, Village Post Office, Convent and most of all very friendly locals. I even had three young lads – all of whom are a credit to the village – who chatted with me about the walk I was doing and added their suggestions as to the best route to follow. This I did and some of this route is on their recommendation.

The Kelseys

This short, circular walk is an ideal walk in Cornwall if you are wanting to blow away those cobwebs, or if you have family who just want to go to the beach whilst you have a walk. We have beaches a plenty, coastline and open access areas to walk and to breathe deep of coastal air, and if you feellike a short detour you can even (at low tide, and check with the tide times first) visit one of Cornwall`s many Holy Wells.

Holywell to Perran Beach

This gentle coastal and beach side walk takes us from the village of Holywell, out around Penhale Point and around the sealed off military area of Penhale Camp and on to Perranporth, where we have the advantage of several refreshment spots before the return leg of our walk.
